About estudioLAAVA
Founded in 2016 by Laura de la Vega and Adrian Aranda, EstudioLAAVA emerged from a shared passion for art, creation, and collaboration, deeply rooted in their upbringing in La Habana, Cuba. With a rich background in the Arts, both founders pursued academic excellence, earning degrees in Architecture and Interior Design from Florida International University and the University of Florida. Their professional journey includes significant contributions at renowned local firms like Arquitectonica and MSA Architects. EstudioLAAVA focuses on innovative design through materiality and the interplay between community needs and user experiences. Their portfolio features notable projects like Little Haiti Station, Doral City Place 7 Apartments, Collins Park Garage, and Lockhart Beckham Stadium. Recently, EstudioLAAVA expanded into urban planning, contributing to the design of public spaces in Brickell in collaboration with “The Friends of the Underline,” with the project now open and actively engaging the community.
